About Queen City Radon Pros

A Cincinnati-based service connecting homeowners with vetted, ODH-certified radon mitigation contractors across the Greater Cincinnati metro and Northern Kentucky.

How we work

Queen City Radon Pros is a Cincinnati-area marketing service. We are not a licensed radon mitigation contractor — we are the bridge between homeowners with a radon problem and the small group of contractors in our region who are licensed to fix it.

Here's how that works in practice:

  1. You contact us through our website, by phone, or via a contact form, telling us about your situation — a high test result, an upcoming home sale, or just wanting peace of mind.
  2. We verify your information and route your inquiry to our partner mitigation contractor.
  3. They contact you directly within one business day with a free, no-pressure quote.
  4. They perform the work under their own ODH license, insurance, and warranty — not ours.

Why we exist

Cincinnati's radon problem is real and widely under-addressed. Hamilton County sits squarely in EPA Radon Zone 1, and roughly one in three tested homes exceeds the action level. Despite this, most homeowners only encounter radon mitigation during a real estate transaction — and they often find that the licensed contractors who can help them are difficult to find online, slow to respond, or booked out for weeks.

We built this site to make it easier to find a good local mitigator quickly. We connect homeowners to vetted contractors and let those contractors do what they do best — install effective, code-compliant mitigation systems.

Our partner contractors

Every contractor we route leads to is required to maintain:

  • A current Ohio Department of Health Radon Mitigation Contractor license
  • NRPP or NRSB national certification
  • General liability insurance of at least $1 million
  • A written warranty on every installed system

We verify credentials before any lead is routed and re-verify annually. If you'd like to confirm a contractor's current standing, the Ohio Department of Health publishes a public lookup of all licensed mitigators.

Service area

We cover the full Greater Cincinnati metro — including Hamilton, Butler, Warren, and Clermont counties in Ohio, and Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties in Northern Kentucky. We can also coordinate service in parts of Dearborn County, Indiana, and adjacent communities upon request.
